Martis Balloon Fiesta April 22-25 2005 If a family getaway in central western NSW is on the calendar for the school holidays, it's worth dropping in on Marti's Balloon Fiesta at Canowindra. Marti's is one of Australia's biggest and most spectacular hot  air balloon festivals.
	More than 25 balloons, including Freddo Frog and Canowindra the Kookaburra, will take to the sky each morning and evening, giving visitors the chance to soar over the countryside.

On the Saturday evening there will be one of the biggest mass  balloon glows, and spectacular fireworks. On the ground, enjoy bush poetry, sports shearing, live bull riding demonstrations, gourmet food and wine tastings, helicopter rides, craft stalls and dog high jump competitions.
